Yeah... so you're probably wondering what the Diwali day thing is all about. I'll talk about that later.
So, two days ago was the talent show. Oh god, I was nervous, and when I finally got up there, my class was sitting in the front and almost all of them were making llamas with their hands. I held back my laughter. Then people, some of them I didn't even know, were complimenting me. That's nice, huh?
Well yesterday a lot of things happened. A girl named Willow Smith at my school (ha ha!) had her birthday and when they announced it on the loudspeaker in the morning, Alex and I started laughing so hard!
Speaking of Alex, he is in almost the same group for me as everything, including my reading group. So yesterday, we were just finishing up a book called The Red Kayak (it's pretty good!) and we were talking about car crashes. So these three people were using their book as cars and crashing them and making a so called 'wimpy' sound when the cars crashed. So me Alex were walking back to the classroom and he said; "Cars don't make that noise when they crash!" Then he made the noise he thought they should make... and well I can't really describe that. I'll try to write it out, though.
Bshhh- AAAA- Splat.
That was weird.
At the end of the day, Chris was putting up his chair and he "dropped it" and the another desk almost tipped over on Alex. The chair did fall off though.
Then Alex was looking through his planner, and he came up to me and he said, "Hey Grace! Happy Diwali day!" I looked at him like he was insane and then he showed me that it tiny little words it said that it was Diwali day. Yay...?
So this is going to be a very boring 4 day weekend. Yeah, that's right. We get today and tomorrow off. And since all of this stuff I post about happens at school.... Yeah... I'm bored already.
